Background Information

St. Joseph Media, publisher of Toronto Life brought us on board to work with their internal designers and developers to assist in the launch of the newly redesigned torontolife.com. Our task was to take the designers' vision and help make it happen for the real world.

Using the provided design samples and creative direction, we constructed a series of templates using lean, valid XHTML and CSS 2/2.1 markup to provide both structure and a reasonable amount of flexibility in implementation. The result: a vastly improved, speedier, leaner and more semantically correct site which can more easily be repurposed to other media such as mobile phones and other handheld devices.
